Customer insights lead to improved product experience for Wheelhouse

Wheelhouse builds a SaaS pricing optimization platform for hosts on home-sharing platforms like AirBnb. The solution offers an advanced machine learning backend which allows hosts to optimize the prices of their listings with respect to surrounding properties. The Wheelhouse team’s goal is to expose this complex functionality as a simple, intuitive interface to their users.

Wheelhouse’s challenge

Wheelhouse’s advanced platform has led to some growing pains. “We need to expose a complex set of controls to people who tend to be less technical,” Greg said. He and his team needed a way of understanding whether their users really understood what the platform offered.

A solution found in LogRocket

After launching a new onboarding flow, Greg and his team wanted to understand how and why users were falling out of the funnel. Streamlined Bug Fixing

Greg is responsible for both product and frontend engineering teams, and uses LogRocket during development to streamling the bug reporting process. “By attaching LogRocket sessions to every bug report, I know that there’s enough information for developers to be able to reproduce and fix the problem,” Greg said. “There’s no more ‘Can’t reproduce’ in our GitHub tickets: all of the information is in LogRocket.”
